In a tide of diversity, Australia faces racism

Donald Greenlees writes in the International Herald Tribune of an Australia coming to grips with the reality of racism, where a young man drapes himself in the Australian flag on the beach after the Cronulla riots and says 'Australia needs more patriots' and where "a recent survey of 551 high school students by a researcher at the Australian Catholic University found one in two thought Muslims were terrorists..." Oh 'lucky country', where art thou?
